Danny Ward and the Broncos Put on a Coaching Extravaganza for Elmbridge Eagles
Junior Club training night for Elmbridge Eagles was recently treated to a masterclass from Danny Ward, London Broncos Head Coach and Great Britain Assistant Coach alongside James Meadows and Matt Davies both 1st Team players from the Broncos and both former Ex Elmbridge Eagles Junior Players. Over 55 players from the U9s to the U16s of the Club all took part on a glorious summer evening of Rugby League at the Club.
Danny Ward ’Commented it was great to come down to the club and be made so welcome and encouraged all the kids and the parents to keep enjoying playing Rugby League and making some mates along the way’.
James Meadows and Matt Davies also re-iterated ‘ keep enjoying the game and it was great to come back to the club they had got the R.L bug from’.
Kevin Rudd, Club Head Coach, added ‘on behalf of the Community Club and its coaching team and volunteers, added ‘we are very appreciative of the guys volunteering and giving up their personal time to pass their knowledge on to the Elmbridge coaches and players at the Club. Elmbridge now has 14 ex and current Elmbridge Junior players in the London Broncos system from their Scholarship, Academy and to the 1st team, we hope with many more players in the pipeline’.
The parents and players from the Club were also treated to a question and answer session with the guest coaches and players, which allowed further insight and understanding of life in Professional Rugby League.
