Open Age Glyn Hogsden Sponsors the Match Ball
Thank you to Glyn Hogsden who sponsored the match ball this week for the Open Age game.
The Open Age, despite having an encouraging squad size of 22 players available for their Home fixture against West Warriors ‘A’ were provided a clinical lesson in Rugby League Skills from the more experienced side. The visitors demonstrated great work in defence, as well as strong attacking flare.. resulting in a 58 v 6 defeat that in the end. The score line perhaps flattering the visitors in what was an evenly matched contest for periods of the game, but West Warriors demonstrated greater completion rates in key areas of the field and at key stages of the game, which the Elmbridge team will learn from.
The Open Age next look forward to another New opposition they have not faced before; Newham Dockers on July 6th at home @ the OCs.. and this weekend (29th June) they have a BYE weekend..
